General Safety
GroundGraphics special surface is anti-slip even when wet.  Try this, pour water on a GroundGraphic and a floor decal side-by-side and then walk on them.  You'll see what I mean.  Soon GroundGraphics will have a UL rating for anti-slip when wet.

Floor decals are slippery when wet.  In addition a floor decal can be kicked up at its edges especially on carpets.

Carpet Applications
GroundGraphics adhesive system and anti-slip surface have been engineered for application on virtually all types of walking surfaces including carpet.

Floor decals have not been designed for carpets.  The thin nature of the floor decal typically allows the carpet texture to become visible through the graphic itself.  In addition, the decal adhesive backing kicks up easily in heavy traffic carpeted areas.  The floor decal can present additional hazards for carpet applications by introducing a "slippery when wet" walking surface into a traditionally "safe when wet" carpet environment.

Durability
GroundGraphics is not a laminated piece so it can't de-laminate and will easily out last the length of the client’s promotion.  GroundGraphics are literally as tough as a piece of permanent flooring and may be considered as such.

Floor decals will de-laminate along the perimeter.

Installation
GroundGraphics are virtually “idiot proof” to install.  A single person can position it on the floor where desired, then peel off the 4 liners and simply step it down around the perimeter.  And GroundGraphics can be repositioned if needed.

Floor decals need to be squeegeed on like wall paper when applied to smooth floors.  And forget about repositioning a floor decal on smooth floors.

Application
The same GroundGraphics can go down securely on a variety of walking surfaces including tile, carpet, smooth floors, etc.

Floor decals are designed primarily for smooth surfaces.  Application on non-smooth floor types may result in the texture of the floor visually coming through the decal and the edges of the decal kicking up.

Placement
GroundGraphics are not limited by floor type.  They can be placed virtually anywhere desired to provide for maximum promotional effect.

Floor decals generally will be placed only where there are smooth floors.

Removal
GroundGraphics appear permanent when down however with effort an edge can be loosened and then the entire GroundGraphic can be pulled up relatively easy and residue free.

Floor decals often times require removal resembling that of scraping off paint or wallpaper.

Time Value
GroundGraphics install so easily that they usually get installed by clients immediately upon receipt.  GroundGraphics can also remain down for virtually as long as desired.

Floor decals, because they take more effort to install, may have their installation postponed until a more convenient time for the employees.  And after installation floor decals have a limited useful time period before de-lamination occurs along the perimeter.  In some instances professionals are required to install and remove the floor decal.
